Virtual and Augmented Reality Exploration

CSUN is hosting a Virtual and Augmented Reality (VAR) exploration and learning experience that will include guest speakers, opportunities for individuals to experience virtual and augmented reality, and the launch of workshops designed to allow participants to explore the implications of VAR for teaching and learning in various contexts: K-12, higher education, corporate training, and more. Jeremy Bailenson, Ph.D, the founding director of Stanford University’s Virtual Human Interaction Lab and a Professor in the Department of Communication at Stanford, is the featured speaker. The program will also mark the inauguration of student competitions around the creation of augmented and virtual reality.
