High Five Art Launch Party
About the Event
As KCRW DJ Anthony Valadez spins and a ferris wheel soars, unwind with an evening of art, culture, and community at the Autry in Griffith Park.
- Meet artists and designers who participated in the 2016 High Five Art Contest. The winning design will be celebrated with a 50-foot banner overlooking the I-5 Freeway.
- Explore the museum after-hours. Don’t miss California Continued, a new exhibition spanning two galleries; an outdoor ethnobotanical garden; and California Roadtrip, an immersive media experience.
- Contribute to a community chalk mural, scribble in the sky with a 3D pen, and take a spin on a ferris wheel for a new perspective.
- Plus, take home a free California-themed tote bag!
All ages welcome. Street tacos, beer, wine, and cocktails will be available for purchase.
