Architectural Woodworking Co Open House, Tour & MFG Expo

Please join Architectural Woodworking Company (AWC) a high-end commercial millwork shop located east of downtown Los Angeles for an open house event. We are a 60,000+ square foot wood products manufacturing facility, with veneer, panel processing, assembly-trim, finishing and shipping departments. Tours of the shop will be provided, and an opportunity to meet some of our key vendors, such as Sherwin Williams, OneSource Distribution (3M adhesives), Royal Plywood, Hafele (hardware), Colonial Saw (tools and machinery) and others. Appropriate dress: no open-toed shoes.

AWC’s shop equipment ranges from typical woodworking hand and power tools to custom made CNC machinery. “Lean Manufacturing” commonly practiced, multiple work cells in shop departments increases productivity. AWC boasts numerous shop departments where craftsmen work and train apprentices. As a shop fully committed to the future of the woodworking industry, it currently supports several woodworking education programs, SkillsUSA (Woodworking/Cabinetmaking contests) and Woodwork Career Alliance (Accredited Evaluation Center).
