Bioscience is an industry of the future here in Los Angeles. Our region is home to a wealth of life sciences innovation and start-ups. Entrepreneurs are constantly starting companies at our universities and research centers to advance the field in medical devices, diagnostics, biopharmaceuticals, digital health, and more. However, when you look around, there are relatively few LA-born companies that have stayed in the region to grow their operations and create new jobs. Why are so many promising bioscience start-ups leaving and how can we help them be successful in Los Angeles?

Join us for an interdisciplinary panel of experts in the field to discuss what early stage bioscience companies really need in order to be successful in LA, and how we can better focus efforts and resources to fill the eco-system gaps.
